Streets style trendsetters to designer catwalk are already catching on to this Spring’s popular makeup looks. Some spring beauty trends are time-old and have stayed around for the past few years, while others challenge you to get out of your comfort zone and try something fun. Pastel and bright colors are still in, but this year we’re seeing some new looks not usually associated with Spring and warm weather. Check out the top spring makeup trends to try as the year heats up:
Dewy, Bronze Skin
Super dewy skin is as in as ever this Spring, and it’s gone to the extremes on the catwalk. All across the runways at New York Fashion Week models were sporting fresh, glowing faces. Many makeup artists skipped foundation completely and opted for this shiny look. Some artists used Vaseline on the cheeks and eyelids, while others used clear lip gloss.
Makeup artists changed up the game with vampy reds on the runways. Colors usually associated with the fall, like deep red and burgundy, are now in for spring! To make it a little more carefree and springy, leave the rest of the face bare or with minimal, natural looking makeup.
